After having played for 3 minutes, Rudi Bender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CEMEL EFSANESPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rudi Bender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, CEMEL EFSANESPOR's Amancio Ixona got a free kick in the 7th minute. Fahrudin Zaidović might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdul Behnisch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fahrudin Zaidović ran back to his position shaking his head. Rudi Bender sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of CEMEL EFSANESPOR booed when 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. 赵平威 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Behnisch made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fahrudin Zaidović sent off a good shot on target. Amancio Ixona scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thibaut Courtois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Rudi Bender had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thibaut Courtois. 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rudi Bender was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Diamantino Brilhante put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Abdul Behnisch. In the 36th minute, 赵平威 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thibaut Courtois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Ixona went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Rudi Bender got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

If Diamantino Brilhante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Ixona in the 57th minute of play. CEMEL EFSANESPOR's Abdul Behnisch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Brilhante in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, CEMEL EFSANESPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Fahrudin Zaidović came free, but Abdul Behnisch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Ixona in the 61st minute of play forced 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudi Bender's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, Amancio Ixona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thibaut Courtois was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. In the 68th minute Fahrudin Zaidović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Behnisch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Diamantino Brilhante got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abdul Behnisch quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. CEMEL EFSANESPOR's Abdul Behnisch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Tullius in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Sabóia. Abdul Behnisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Brilhante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wolfgang Schui struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Abdul Behnisch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg. In the 83rd match minute, 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Brilhante to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes CEMEL EFSANESPOR got a freekick which was hit by Jerico Cantera. Although 1. FC Polonia Nürnberg had been in control for most of the match, CEMEL EFSANESPOR still came away with the win.
