The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Gohfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Lison to maneuver through the defense. Gregor Schachtschober recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Heiko Kuhlins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Flecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estebe Alvaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karim Adeyemi in the 9th minute. Gohfeld's Marc Flecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tağı Cabbarov in the 11th minute of play. Karim Adeyemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Estebe Alvaro having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, FC Hollywood's Valério Arce made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Flecken was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gohfeld's Marc Flecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Kuhlins in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Gohfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Schachtschober came free, but Marc Flecken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marc Flecken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Schlott in the 23rd minute of play. Marc Flecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Schlott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Schlott in the 28th minute of play forced Gohfeld's goalkeeper Marc Flecken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estebe Alvaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ralph Perschke went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Gregor Schachtschober fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Hollywood's protests and gave Gregor Schachtschober a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, FC Hollywood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregor Schachtschober to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Tobias Schlott made a precise shot to the right of Marc Flecken. Gohfeld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Marc Flecken made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heiko Kuhlins in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Gohfeld getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Karl Brunner hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Tobias Schlott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Tağı Cabbarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marc Flecken was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Marc Flecken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Schlott, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Schlott was the one to do the kick off. Heiko Kuhlins struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Marc Flecken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hollywood. Gregor Schachtschober could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Marc Flecken made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FC Hollywood's Gregor Schachtschober got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Gohfeld's Marc Flecken got control of the ball when Heiko Kuhlins tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estebe Alvaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Perschke in the 68th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Gohfeld's corner Karl Brunner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Estebe Alvaro quite easily take care of the ball. Marc Flecken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiko Kuhlins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Tobias Schlott took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Marc Flecken to make any attempt to save it. In the 81st minute Gregor Schachtschober shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marc Flecken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, FC Hollywood's Tobias Schlott ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marc Flecken. Marc Flecken yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Gohfeld's Marc Flecken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Schlott in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Gohfeld's goalkeeper Marc Flecken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heiko Kuhlins. 94 minutes into the match, Tağı Cabbarov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marc Flecken, 1-7. FC Hollywood played a much better game than Gohfeld and deserved their victory. The Gohfeld players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
