Welkershausen FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Büdlich-Breit the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Welkershausen FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falk Schnitzer to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Schreiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leander Schachow having to interfere. The FC Büdlich-Breit fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when FC Büdlich-Breit's Patrick Schreiner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niko Schmitz couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Michael Wirkner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Büdlich-Breit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. A collision led to Welkershausen FSV getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dustin Klauß hit a great ball. Ernst Müller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leander Schachow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

Martin Bordorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niko Schmitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leander Schachow. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Welkershausen FSV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Niko Schmitz scored to the left of an out of position Leander Schachow, making the score, 0-6. In the 79th minute, Patrick Schreiner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Büdlich-Breit fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. The supporters of FC Büdlich-Breit booed when Welkershausen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piet Notz didn't get a good kick on the ball.
