Spectators: 7468 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 168) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pawel Reiners took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Pawel Reiners left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Wachdendonk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Michael Cremer-Ricken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 27 minutes, Justin Hilpert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wachdendonk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justin Hilpert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Borys Gongola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Schwabe went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 38 played minutes Die Krähen got a freekick which was hit by Uwe Neubauer. Axel Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Tande in the 43rd minute of play. Axel Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half FC Wachdendonk were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Kläsener to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Kläsener in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Axel Groth saved FC Wachdendonk from getting behind. FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Kläsener in the 62nd minute of play. Sol Niesen kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Die Krähen's goalkeeper Borys Gongola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Kläsener in the 71st minute of play forced FC Wachdendonk's goalkeeper Axel Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Johannes Kläsener who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wachdendonk's Axel Groth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Wachdendonk booed when Die Krähen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Kläsener didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a good free kick, Johannes Kläsener got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for FC Wachdendonk. FC Wachdendonk's Malik Zensen was substituted for Justin Hilpert. After some careless play in the FC Wachdendonk defense, Johannes Kläsener kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Groth. The FC Wachdendonk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Groth should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, Gilbert Kojder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Borys Gongola. Die Krähen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilbert Kojder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Kojder in the 95th minute of play forced Die Krähen's goalkeeper Borys Gongola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
