Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frieder Köffers in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remo Totti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in VFR Stommeln's zone, Frieder Köffers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remo Totti came out of the goal and Frieder Köffers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, VFR Stommeln's Martin Eschrich got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Remo Totti made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Stephan Stößer sent off a good shot on target. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
