Serge Heisters's late challenge caught a Fc Haudaneben's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serge Heisters helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Türkgücü Hanau:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fc Haudaneben:s goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hilmar Bäcker made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Pim Meier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hilmar Bäcker took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Björn Budden. Björn Budden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Björn Budden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hilmar Bäcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermann Brand kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serge Heisters in the 61st minute of play forced Fc Haudaneben's goalkeeper Björn Budden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Radtke hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Türkgücü Hanau's Adrian Radtke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Björn Budden narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
