Per Klesper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rens Laurent might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per Klesper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rens Laurent ran back to his position shaking his head. Björn Budden was a little too slow when Fernan Senin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Rens Laurent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Klesper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rens Laurent, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Taisto Leppänen charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taisto Leppänen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Taisto Leppänen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fc Haudaneben's Björn Budden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taisto Leppänen in the 26th minute of play. Max Thier scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per Klesper, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd match minute, AC Rostock was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Dobinski to maneuver through the defense. Björn Budden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taisto Leppänen in the 38th minute. In the 38th minute, Fc Haudaneben's Max Thier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Max Thier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc Haudaneben protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Max Thier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After some careless play in the AC Rostock defense, Alexandrino Viveiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Per Klesper. The AC Rostock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Per Klesper should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Taisto Leppänen made a kick off. Fc Haudaneben's Björn Budden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Senin in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Fernando Giner tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Per Klesper saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rens Laurent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Per Klesper made a huge save. After 70 minutes of play, AC Rostock's Taisto Leppänen made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Björn Budden was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fc Haudaneben's Björn Budden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Başar Uraltan in the 76th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Per Klesper successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Per Klesper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rens Laurent in the 79th minute of play. Björn Budden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Abancens in the 81st minute of the match. Björn Budden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obbo Ngnoubamdjum, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, Hermann Brand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Haudaneben's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Rostock the free kick. After 85 played minutes Fc Haudaneben got a freekick which was hit by Hermann Brand. Martin Overhoff kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Bo Ibrahimović charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bo Ibrahimović the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Fc Haudaneben got a freekick which was hit by Bo Ibrahimović. Fc Haudaneben's Björn Budden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Overhoff in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Fc Haudaneben's goal looked a bit too open when Başar Uraltan came free, but Björn Budden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Başar Uraltan in the 96th minute of play forced Fc Haudaneben's goalkeeper Björn Budden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Haudaneben's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
