In the 2nd minute, Gino Van Herendael left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 5 minutes, Gino Van Herendael made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carsten Pampuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino Van Herendael, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Lennard Finkenrath made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Simon Rupprecht sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Gino Van Herendael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Pampuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Herrenberg F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gino Van Herendael came free, but Carsten Pampuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gino Van Herendael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carsten Pampuch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Michael Flosbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennard Finkenrath made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walery Biegun in the 27th minute. If Gino Van Herendael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 34 minutes of play, Hertha 1969's Gino Van Herendael made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carsten Pampuch was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Flosbach in the 41st minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Lennard Finkenrath to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Herrenberg F.C. getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Reinhold Jensen hit a great ball. Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Van Herendael in the 43rd minute of play. Johannes Raubold hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Carsten Pampuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Van Herendael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Van Herendael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Hertha 1969's Gino Van Herendael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carsten Pampuch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Lennard Finkenrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Rupprecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Michael Flosbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-5 became the score in the 70th minute when Gino Van Herendael elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Hertha 1969's Franz Neumann slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carsten Pampuch. That made the score 0-6 after 75 minutes of play. A collision led to Herrenberg F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Berthold Bleich hit a great ball. Carsten Pampuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Van Herendael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Herrenberg F.C. defense, Gino Van Herendael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carsten Pampuch. The Herrenberg F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carsten Pampuch should have stopped the shot. In the 86thth minute of the game Michael Flosbach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hertha 1969's Lennard Finkenrath was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berthold Bleich's late challenge caught a Hertha 1969's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Berthold Bleich helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Berthold Bleich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carsten Pampuch was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Niko Tranenskær. Beniamin Zbytniewski kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Hertha 1969's Lennard Finkenrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhold Jensen in the 92nd minute of play. Franz Neumann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
