In the 5th minute, one of FC Lilli:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Lilli. Reinhold Jensen shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Blank kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carsten Pampuch. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Herrenberg F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arbo Stamm came free, but Carsten Pampuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Arbo Stamm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Carsten Pampuch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch got control of the ball when Jonathan Blank tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otto-Stephan Hennig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Flosbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Michael Flosbach made a precise shot to the right of Otto-Stephan Hennig. FC Lilli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Otto-Stephan Hennig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Rupprecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. FC Lilli's Otto-Stephan Hennig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Flosbach in the 90th minute of play. If Jonathan Blank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Battista Gail kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Herrenberg F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Lilli.
