Otto-Stephan Hennig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taisto Leppänen in the 10th minute of play. Otto-Stephan Hennig made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Taisto Leppänen sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute Eduard Jankowsky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Klesper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Taisto Leppänen managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Rostock's supporters rose to their feet, but Taisto Leppänen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per Klesper made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Jonathan Blank sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Domeracki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Per Klesper made a huge save. Per Klesper didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucjan Domeracki went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
