After 6 minutes, Adrian Radtke made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnauld Ruttens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Adrian Radtke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Türkgücü Hanau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Radtke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Michael Flosbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Raubold hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Carsten Pampuch successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Herrenberg F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Serge Heisters was slow to take the kick. During this time Türkgücü Hanau's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Hilmar Bäcker managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a rather tough play, Türkgücü Hanau's Adrian Radtke got a free kick in the 24th minute. Herrenberg F.C.'s Simon Rupprecht got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivica Hunds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Flosbach in the 31st minute of play. Johannes Raubold hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Herrenberg F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Türkgücü Hanau:s goal. In the 48th minute, Adrian Radtke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Türkgücü Hanau made a substitution. Otfried Rendelmann replaced Hilmar Bäcker. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Otfried Rendelmann came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Türkgücü Hanau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otfried Rendelmann couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute of the match Türkgücü Hanau got a corner. Herrenberg F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serge Heisters ran over to the corner to take the kick. Türkgücü Hanau's Serge Heisters was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carsten Pampuch in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 59 minutes Herrenberg F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serge Heisters who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Türkgücü Hanau's Serge Heisters to fire away a dangerous shot which Carsten Pampuch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Türkgücü Hanau's goalkeeper Ivica Hunds had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Walery Biegun. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Türkgücü Hanau's goalkeeper Ivica Hunds, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes Türkgücü Hanau's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reinhold Jensen who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Herrenberg F.C.'s corner Walery Biegun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivica Hunds quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otfried Rendelmann in the 74th minute of play forced Herrenberg F.C.'s goalkeeper Carsten Pampuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Ron Ohse who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herrenberg F.C.'s Carsten Pampuch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 80 minutes Herrenberg F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serge Heisters who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Herrenberg F.C. booed when Türkgücü Hanau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Bothenhain didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Walery Biegun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivica Hunds was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Ivica Hunds was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Michael Flosbach capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Flosbach really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After 95 played minutes Herrenberg F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnauld Ruttens. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Ohse in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carsten Pampuch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute Otfried Rendelmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Pampuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Herrenberg F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
