The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Give Peace a Chance booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dumitru Praporgescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abubakar Noach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Hilger in the 3rd minute of play. If Marek Tomporowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Zernicke in the 12th minute of play forced Vorwärts Lübeck's goalkeeper Abubakar Noach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anders Myrvang kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Tomporowski in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Untermann saved Give Peace a Chance from getting behind. Give Peace a Chance's Bruno Untermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eberhard Kobe in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, Vorwärts Lübeck's Eberhard Kobe made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Untermann was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the game, Vorwärts Lübeck's Eberhard Kobe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Untermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Abubakar Noach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Hilger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Give Peace a Chance booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldo Gawletta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lex Punke was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Ortzi came free, but Bruno Untermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severino Casero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Vorwärts Lübeck from getting a goal against them. In the 55th match minute, Give Peace a Chance was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lu Sang to maneuver through the defense. Give Peace a Chance's Bruno Untermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Ortzi in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Marek Tomporowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 67 played minutes Vorwärts Lübeck got a freekick which was hit by Marek Tomporowski. Lu Sang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Vorwärts Lübeck from getting a goal against them. Bruno Untermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Baptiste Lasogga, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Cecilio Ortzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Vorwärts Lübeck booed when Give Peace a Chance was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonid Junginger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Ortzi scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Untermann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute Marek Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Untermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jean-Baptiste Lasogga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Untermann was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Lex Punke kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Give Peace a Chance players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vorwärts Lübeck.
