Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wyatt Snow in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abubakar Noach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adalbert Jantzen in the 41st minute of play forced Vorwärts Lübeck's goalkeeper Abubakar Noach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Casero in the 46th minute of play forced Buffalo Bills's goalkeeper Lars Köhler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The goal made the score 0-3. 90 minutes into the match, Buffalo Bills's goalkeeper Lars Köhler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marek Tomporowski. Lars Köhler made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Severino Casero sent off a good shot on target. The Vorwärts Lübeck supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vorwärts Lübeck would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
