The audience was convinced that Mattias Hilger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastian Abel was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Bastian Abel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 10 minutes FC Eisenberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lex Punke who took care of the corner kick. Give Peace a Chance's Bruno Untermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udo Giehl in the 17th minute of play. Bruno Untermann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Udo Giehl, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Silvester Schwede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastian Abel was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Eisenberg's Apollo Schönbucher got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Mattias Hilger could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Bastian Abel however easily saved by the left post. Silvester Schwede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 44 played minutes FC Eisenberg got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Winkelsett. If Mattias Hilger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Udo Giehl was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Give Peace a Chance's goal looked a bit too open when Udo Giehl came free, but Bruno Untermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Lu Sang notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Eisenberg's Bastian Abel. Bastian Abel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, Mattias Hilger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bastian Abel. FC Eisenberg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mattias Hilger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Bastian Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Sang in the 89th minute of the match. Silvester Schwede blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bastian Abel having to make a save.
