Pekin Energin started the match with the kick off. Hermann Luscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Fe having to interfere. Alejo Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingemar Mense in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dragons XI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gerhard Neoral was slow to take the kick. During this time Friesenwerdermoor's players had a chance to rest. Alejo Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermann Luscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Dragons XI's Prospero Goethe threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pang Hong, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe got control of the ball when Marc-Dominic Schnurrer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Friesenwerdermoor's Prospero Goethe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Hong in the 22nd minute of play. Prospero Goethe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pang Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute Dragons XI were awarded a corner. Renato Leonhard went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Schade during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Artur Schade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermann Luscher in the 38th minute of play. Prospero Goethe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tizian Stange in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekin Energin in the 43rd minute of play forced Dragons XI's goalkeeper Alejo Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Tom Gerster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Dinu Grecea made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennard Rossmanith got free with Alejo Fe in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alejo Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Luscher in the 62nd minute of the match. Ingemar Mense hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Dragons XI's Pang Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermann Luscher in the 69th minute of play. Pekin Energin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Friesenwerdermoor's Iwan Dziechciowski was substituted for Pekin Energin. Dragons XI's Andrew Müller was substituted for Renato Leonhard. Marc-Dominic Schnurrer kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Friesenwerdermoor got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Flöge. Alejo Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermann Luscher in the 83rd minute of the match. Prospero Goethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pang Hong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Friesenwerdermoor's Hermann Luscher dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. The Dragons XI supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Friesenwerdermoor's performance. The match ended with a win for Friesenwerdermoor.
