Jâninho Potiguar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johann Dubski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohamed Wigger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jâninho Potiguar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match FSV Schuette got a corner. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johann Dubski ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 23rd minute, Rato Scheufens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.Tapiales - Münster's zone, Johann Dubski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jâninho Potiguar came out of the goal and Johann Dubski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 28 minutes FSV Schuette's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rudy Siong who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rudy Siong got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anastasio Matei quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 35 minutes into the match, Niko Leibrandt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anastasio Matei. FSV Schuette's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niko Leibrandt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 39th minute, Johann Dubski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Johann Dubski in the 53rd minute of play forced C.A.Tapiales - Münster's goalkeeper Jâninho Potiguar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, FSV Schuette's goal looked a bit too open when Helmut Schepers came free, but Anastasio Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Miklos Gödicke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jâninho Potiguar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Dubski, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jâninho Potiguar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dix Reimann in the 74th minute. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswald Hülsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Anton Matzken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jâninho Potiguar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
