Wit Dytrych succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. After 10 played minutes SV Bad Harzburg got a freekick which was hit by Jurek Ohrem. Silvestre Loi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cícero Proença having to make a save. Jacek Matuch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ture Arenius's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Ture Arenius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacek Matuch was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvestre Loi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cícero Proença. Cícero Proença dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Ackermann in the 30th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SC Otten's Cícero Proença got control of the ball when Silvestre Loi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Mantzouranas in the 34th minute of play. After 35th play minutes Silvestre Loi shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Cícero Proença and just under the crossbar into goal. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Cícero Proença successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. SV Bad Harzburg were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after SC Otten's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jurek Ohrem took the corner. In the 41st minute, SV Bad Harzburg's Nordine Ighil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cícero Proença. Cícero Proença yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Jacek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotis Mantzouranas in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurek Ohrem to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvestre Loi was the one to do the kick off. Jacek Matuch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fotis Mantzouranas, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cícero Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nordine Ighil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ture Arenius hit a great ball. SC Otten made a substitution. Gernot Graul replaced Hette Kiewiet. SC Otten's Pankracy Setara was substituted for Ture Arenius. Éthan Pichard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cícero Proença tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Dytrych in the 73rd minute of play. Pankracy Setara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Jacek Matuch made a huge save. SV Bad Harzburg's Silvestre Loi got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Wit Dytrych kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacek Matuch. That made the score 3-4 in the 93 minute of play. Cícero Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 97th minute of the match.
