SC Night Cats's Sepp Meier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save SC Night Cats from getting a goal against them. SC Night Cats's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Hanjo Cyrkel scored to the left of an out of position Sepp Meier, making the score, 1-0. In the 18th minute Attila Szalai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burkhard Kofler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hanjo Cyrkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Borussia Ostermoordorf defense, Xabat Acedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Burkhard Kofler. The Borussia Ostermoordorf fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Burkhard Kofler should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Kielberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The Borussia Ostermoordorf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Night Cats were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xabat Acedo made a kick off. Xabat Acedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Burkhard Kofler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burkhard Kofler was a little too slow when Xabat Acedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-3. When Benjamin Kielberg came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the SC Night Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamin Kielberg couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Xabat Acedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burkhard Kofler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sepp Meier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Jing Xun, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xabat Acedo got free with Burkhard Kofler in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Sandor Borchert notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of SC Night Cats's Sepp Meier. Sepp Meier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, SC Night Cats's Burkhard Kofler threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xabat Acedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Sandor Borchert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victor Jensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sepp Meier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Victor Jensen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Ostermoordorf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 93rd minute, Sandor Borchert made a precise shot to the right of Sepp Meier. SC Night Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Night Cats players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Borussia Ostermoordorf.
