Harro Meier came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by TSV Trudering's Felix Kuschel. But to his dismay, Felix Kuschel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 19th minute Dietrich Beuschlein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harro Meier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederick Böhmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxi Moralez in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, YugiPeeK ✈'s Harro Meier got control of the ball when Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dietrich Beuschlein in the 26th minute of play forced YugiPeeK ✈'s goalkeeper Harro Meier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harro Meier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lothar Pfirrmann in the 28th minute. The tension between the YugiPeeK ✈ and the TSV Trudering players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to YugiPeeK ✈ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Maxi Moralez hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxi Moralez was the one to do the kick off.
