Qiao Xing Qi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Emerson Ferraz made a huge save. Hannover Reds's Emilio Argina was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Argina made a kick off. In the 84thth minute of the game Guido Burgstaller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hannover Reds's Hartmut Klein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
