Seating: 2487, VIP seats: 216) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sven Appenzeller got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Godo Pisch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Jarstein. Hertha 1969's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godo Pisch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Markus Bechert fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Großberghofen's protests and gave Markus Bechert a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Großberghofen got a freekick which was hit by Markus Bechert. In the 6th match minute, Großberghofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bülent Piater to maneuver through the defense. Rufus Bangert was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Hovermann showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 9 minute of play. Nils Hovermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Rufus Bangert made a huge save. After 18 minutes Großberghofen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moritz Hasenjäger who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Hertha 1969's corner Moritz Hasenjäger fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rufus Bangert quite easily take care of the ball. Wilhelm Nienhaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Rufus Bangert made a huge save. Sven Appenzeller scored 1-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rune Jarstein, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odo Uedickoven in the 34th minute of the match. With a little luck, Großberghofen's Rufus Bangert got control of the ball when Zé Paulo da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hertha 1969's Wilhelm Nienhaus came free and shot a quick shot against goal 40 minutes in the game, fortunately Rufus Bangert had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Großberghofen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner.
