Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaroslav Kubala got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, SK Klášter Hradiště n.J.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gejza Knap came free, but Horymír Široký reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Josef Knoflíček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horymír Široký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonín Kodera charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonín Kodera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Horymír Široký took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Knoflíček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Josef Knoflíček notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SK Klášter Hradiště n.J.'s Horymír Široký. Horymír Široký was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Gejza Knap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horymír Široký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horymír Široký came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Sigma United's Gejza Knap. But to his dismay, Gejza Knap quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. SK Klášter Hradiště n.J.'s Horymír Široký played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josef Knoflíček in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Jiří Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Klášter Hradiště n.J.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jiří Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Gejza Knap shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horymír Široký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Josef Knoflíček shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horymír Široký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horymír Široký came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sigma United's Josef Knoflíček. But to his dismay, Josef Knoflíček quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Radek Šula hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Gejza Knap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Horymír Široký tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Knoflíček in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horymír Široký saved SK Klášter Hradiště n.J. from getting behind. Josef Knoflíček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Josef Knoflíček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josef Knoflíček to make the kick off. Josef Knoflíček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jiří Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mesut Piatek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jiří Eger in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Sigma United booed when SK Klášter Hradiště n.J. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petr Kejval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horymír Široký acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gottfried Schwarzbäcker. Sigma United's Mesut Piatek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiří Eger in the 76th minute of play. Radek Šula kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Eger in the 85th minute of play forced Sigma United's goalkeeper Mesut Piatek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiří Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sigma United's goalkeeper Mesut Piatek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gejza Knap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sigma United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sigma United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
