Enrique Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Bernard Heger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernest Hlavica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Heger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Borek Šejnoha in the 13th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Petr Lapáček managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pulicky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petr Lapáček was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Real Madrid C.F.'s Oldřich Pluskal got control of the ball when Petr Lapáček tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Borek Šejnoha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madrid C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pulicky the free kick. Borek Šejnoha hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Pulicky's Miloš Hrdlička nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oldřich Pluskal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Bernard Heger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Günter Vízek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Real Madrid C.F.'s Borek Šejnoha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Real Madrid C.F.:s Oldřich Pluskal showed great skill when he stopped Harald Horník:s penalty. Milan Vymětal struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Bernard Heger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid C.F.. Borek Šejnoha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernard Heger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Borek Šejnoha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernard Heger was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When Borek Šejnoha came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Real Madrid C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borek Šejnoha couldn't finish the play. Bernard Heger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Borek Šejnoha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 86 minute of play. Bernard Heger made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Milan Vymětal sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Real Madrid C.F.'s Enrique Correa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. After 99 minutes, Borek Šejnoha made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Pulicky's Bernard Heger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Real Madrid C.F. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Madrid C.F. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
