Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 151) Sepekau's Zdeněk Pondělíček started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miloslav Pivoda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bohdan Zadák in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zdeněk Pondělíček's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miloslav Pivoda was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. After 10 minutes, Jan Radil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PFC BOTEV and the Sepekau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sepekau booed when PFC BOTEV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Radil didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarmil Havel in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karel Frýdek saved Sepekau from getting behind. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Jarmil Havel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kurt Záleský fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sepekau's protests and gave Kurt Záleský a yellow card for diving instead. Kurt Záleský kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Michal Kroka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karel Frýdek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jaroslav Zídek charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaroslav Zídek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, PFC BOTEV's Jaromír Marek got a free kick in the 38th minute. PFC BOTEV's Miloslav Pivoda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Pondělíček in the 43rd minute of play. Zdeněk Pondělíček might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miloslav Pivoda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zdeněk Pondělíček ran back to his position shaking his head. Bohdan Zadák sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
