Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vladimír Daniel started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute Zdeněk Schreiber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyril Honzák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bolka Ducks's Radim Kuchyňka got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimír Daniel in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyril Honzák saved Bolka Ducks from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Alfonso Guidoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Sparta Kadaň's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Guidoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyril Honzák breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyril Honzák stood somewhat misplaced when Alfonso Guidoni came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. A collision led to Bolka Ducks getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ernest Růžička hit a great ball. Vladimír Daniel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyril Honzák read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolka Ducks's goalkeeper Cyril Honzák, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vladimír Daniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyril Honzák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdeněk Schreiber in the 27th minute of play. Oldřich Jiříček hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Bolka Ducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Dirda to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bolka Ducks's zone, Alfonso Guidoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyril Honzák came out of the goal and Alfonso Guidoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimír Daniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cyril Honzák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rostislav Haken to make the kick off. Metoděj Carda made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ernest Růžička sent off a good shot on target. Vladimír Daniel struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cyril Honzák didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Sparta Kadaň. Cyril Honzák came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Sparta Kadaň's Zdeněk Schreiber. But to his dismay, Zdeněk Schreiber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Bolka Ducks's Ernest Růžička got a free kick in the 60th minute. 64 minutes into the match, FC Sparta Kadaň's goalkeeper Metoděj Carda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Růžička. Helmut Výborný charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helmut Výborný the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Sparta Kadaň booed when Bolka Ducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmut Výborný didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cyril Honzák showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Flégl in the 68th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Vladimír Daniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Sparta Kadaň's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimír Daniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Bolka Ducks defense, Bebeto Coelho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyril Honzák. The Bolka Ducks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyril Honzák should have stopped the shot. If Alfonso Guidoni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernest Růžička struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Metoděj Carda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolka Ducks. When Zdeněk Schreiber came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Sparta Kadaň fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdeněk Schreiber couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Radim Kuchyňka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Sparta Kadaň walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
