The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute Slavoj Nečesaný shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Horňák saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Poresice's Valter Koutek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Verner Beňák narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pavel Horňák made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slavoj Nečesaný in the 30th minute of play. Pavel Horňák made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bronislav Peňáz in the 36th minute. Otomar Chlup kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Benedikt Vach came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Poresice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedikt Vach couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Koutek in the 100th minute of play forced Telcov's goalkeeper Verner Beňák to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Telcov players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
