Helmut Klimša showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slavoj Nečesaný, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, FC Trebendorf's goalkeeper Helmut Klimša had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bronislav Peňáz. If Bohumír Štych had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bohumír Štych recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bohumír Štych might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Verner Beňák. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bohumír Štych ran back to his position shaking his head. Bohumír Štych received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Verner Beňák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Trojánek kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Slavoj Nečesaný who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Trebendorf's Helmut Klimša was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bronislav Peňázs short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Helmut Klimša to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomáš Nečesaný to make the kick off. Helmut Klimša took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slavoj Nečesaný, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bohumír Štych came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FC Trebendorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bohumír Štych couldn't finish the play. If Bronislav Peňáz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Trebendorf getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Petr Šubert hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Bronislav Peňáz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Helmut Klimša was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Slavoj Nečesaný received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Helmut Klimša tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bronislav Peňáz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Klimša read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, FC Trebendorf's goal looked a bit too open when Slavoj Nečesaný came free, but Helmut Klimša reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telcov's Jan Rovenský couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Trebendorf. Tomáš Nečesaný received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Verner Beňák tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomáš Nečesaný fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Beňák having to interfere. The supporters of Telcov booed when FC Trebendorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaroslav Dolanský didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Oldřich Kubáč had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Telcov's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
