Helmut Vnouček started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josef Martinek during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jiří Bobeks short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Václav Šilha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Václav Šilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmut Vnouček, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Attila Maxa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Praskacka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Orlando Pirates the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helmut Vnouček in the 28th minute of play forced Praskacka's goalkeeper Václav Šilha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Praskacka's Attila Maxa got a free kick in the 28th minute. Svatomír Srp kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Adam Kohut kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Roman Moučka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Praskacka's zone, Helmut Vnouček stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Václav Šilha came out of the goal and Helmut Vnouček tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Václav Šilha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmut Vnouček, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, David Mára got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Mára to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Helmut Vnouček's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Václav Šilha was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, David Mára notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Orlando Pirates's Jaroslav Hampejs. Jaroslav Hampejs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 60 minutes, Michal Dub mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Orlando Pirates and the Praskacka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Michal Dub hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Orlando Pirates booed when Praskacka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Attila Maxa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 73 minutes Praskacka's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josef Martinek who took care of the corner kick. Josef Martinek made a great header on FC Orlando Pirates's corner, it was just that Praskacka's Václav Šilha managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Praskacka booed when FC Orlando Pirates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Dub didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Mára in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaroslav Hampejs saved FC Orlando Pirates from getting behind. Jaroslav Hampejs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Minarčík's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Jaroslav Hampejs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Mára, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiří Bobek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Václav Šilha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Přemysl Jagoš hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Helmut Vnouček recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Praskacka supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Praskacka would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
