To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, SFC Opava's Viktor Kubásek got a free kick in the 19th minute. Federico Ali received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Richard Ráček tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, FC Herold's Federico Ali made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Ráček was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Herold's Federico Ali got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Federico Ali fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Ráček having to interfere. Richard Ráček showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pico Ascani in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, SFC Opava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jiří Vajda to maneuver through the defense. Federico Ali sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Václav Chvátal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half FC Herold were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Volejník was the one to do the kick off. FC Herold's Federico Ali got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes, FC Herold's Josef Přikryl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Richard Ráček came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Herold reached it. Otakar Janouš hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SFC Opava's zone, Federico Ali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Ráček came out of the goal and Federico Ali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner ended in Václav Chvátal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SFC Opava's Richard Ráček did a great save. 78 minutes into the game, Federico Ali lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Richard Ráček. Richard Ráček didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Václav Chvátal went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When Václav Chvátal came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Herold fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Václav Chvátal couldn't finish the play. After 93 played minutes SFC Opava got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Kubásek. Federico Ali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Václav Chvátal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Herold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Václav Chvátal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Herold played a much better game than SFC Opava and deserved their victory. The SFC Opava players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
