When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Leon Křen sped through SK Rynarec's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dragan Sýkora. Jiří Rychlík charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jiří Rychlík the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th minute, Jiří Rychlík hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute of the match Ivan Vetešník shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dragan Sýkora showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tudor Dășanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Dragan Sýkora made a huge save. Leon Křen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dragan Sýkora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ladislav Volák was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Leon Křen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SFK Meziboří's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Křen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dragan Sýkora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miloš Klusoň stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SK Rynarec's zone, Ivan Vetešník stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragan Sýkora came out of the goal and Ivan Vetešník tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragan Sýkora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Dășanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Dășanu in the 96th minute of play forced SK Rynarec's goalkeeper Dragan Sýkora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SFK Meziboří had played much better football throughout.
