Miloslav Dráb kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Bek in the 13th minute of play forced FC Mexiko City's goalkeeper Fahri Sahadettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Dela's Jiří Bek got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Alfred Pešta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jakub Moucha hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. FC Dela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Alfred Pešta scored to the left of an out of position Dominik Benda, making the score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Gross got free with Dominik Benda in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC Mexiko City booed when FC Dela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Moucha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Alfred Pešta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Bek in the 26th minute of play forced FC Mexiko City's goalkeeper Fahri Sahadettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th play minute Jan Gross came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dominik Benda. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Gross could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Dominik Benda however easily saved by the left post. When Přemysl Duna fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mexiko City's protests and gave Přemysl Duna a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes FC Mexiko City got a freekick which was hit by Přemysl Duna. Dominik Benda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Pešta in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute Alfred Pešta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Benda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominik Benda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Přemysl Duna in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Jan Gross shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Benda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Mexiko City's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Miroslav Michl 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. FC Mexiko City's Fahri Sahadettin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Mexiko City from getting a goal against them. Fahri Sahadettin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Michl in the 64th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Jan Gross managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mexiko City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Gross was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the game, Alfred Pešta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dominik Benda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miroslav Michl was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. FC Dela's Dominik Benda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gross in the 81st minute of play. Dominik Benda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Gross in the 86th minute of play. Miroslav Michl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fahri Sahadettin having to interfere. Dominik Benda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Gross in the 92nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Dela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Mexiko City.
