In the 25th minute, Jiří Kružík reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petr Plavec. The goal made the score 2-2. Waldemar Hanč's late challenge caught a Galatasaray's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Waldemar Hanč helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes Okounov got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Hanč. A collision led to Galatasaray getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jakub Šlosar hit a great ball. Oleg Vokál made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galatasaray's Jakub Šlosar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Kodytek to strike the kick off in the second half. Petr Dřímal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxmilian Zajíček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galatasaray's Petr Plavec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borek Štencel in the 61st minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Okounov fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! Galatasaray's Maxmilian Zajíček got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galatasaray's Petr Plavec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Borek Štencel in the 70th minute of play. Petr Plavec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borek Štencel in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Filip Lev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Plavec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okounov's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Maxmilian Zajíček scored to the left of an out of position Petr Dřímal, making the score, 2-5. Maxmilian Zajíček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Dřímal having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard Kodytek got free with Petr Dřímal in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maxmilian Zajíček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Dřímal having to interfere. The Galatasaray players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
