Spectators: 7458 (Terracing: 5682, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 35) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zdeněk Čáslavský took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Lumír Hendrich dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petr Turoň, 1-0. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bohumil Vebr sped through FC Ponickov's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Norbert Myslík. Pavel Veleta charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavel Veleta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pavel Veleta hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Petr Turoň didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. Bohumil Vebr struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Norbert Myslík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Suchov. 25 minutes into the match, Karel Obr had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norbert Myslík. FC Ponickov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karel Obr was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Norbert Myslík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohumil Vebr, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With his leg Petr Turoň managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when FC Ponickov's Julius Matušek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Lumír Hendrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ponickov's zone, Bohumil Vebr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Myslík came out of the goal and Bohumil Vebr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SK Suchov's Petr Turoň got control of the ball when Julius Matušek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petr Turoň showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdeněk Čáslavský, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Petr Turoň showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdeněk Čáslavský in the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julius Matušek got free with Petr Turoň in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in FC Ponickov's zone, Karel Obr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Myslík came out of the goal and Karel Obr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bohumil Vebr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Myslík having to interfere. In the 56th minute Bohumil Vebr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Myslík saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Turoň made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdeněk Čáslavský in the 57th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, SK Suchov's goal looked a bit too open when Zdeněk Čáslavský came free, but Petr Turoň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, SK Suchov's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Matušek came free, but Petr Turoň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Turoň made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lumír Hendrich in the 63rd minute of play. In the 67th minute Zdeněk Čáslavský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Turoň saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, SK Suchov's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Matušek came free, but Petr Turoň reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Zdeněk Čáslavský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Turoň saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zdeněk Čáslavský took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petr Turoň. Petr Turoň dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Karel Obr blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Norbert Myslík having to make a save. Petr Turoň made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdeněk Čáslavský in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bohumil Vebr in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norbert Myslík saved FC Ponickov from getting behind. Norbert Myslík didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karel Obr went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Matušek in the 97th minute of play forced SK Suchov's goalkeeper Petr Turoň to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
