When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Helmut Meixner made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Arnold Křižka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomáš Rýznar was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 84 in the game by Jiří Lysek from a close distance when the talented Jan Havlas managed to make a qualified save. Mitteldorf's players were relieved. Jan Havlas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomáš Kišš, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute.
