Marián Dubský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Daníček having to interfere. Josef Raška showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Korous, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Alcohol Masters's zone, Martin Lukáč stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Raška came out of the goal and Martin Lukáč tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The tension between the Alcohol Masters and the Harlem Globetrotters players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alcohol Masters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Šenkyřík was slow to take the kick. During this time Harlem Globetrotters's players had a chance to rest. Ivan Šenkyřík made a great header on Harlem Globetrotters's corner, it was just that Alcohol Masters's Josef Raška managed to reach the ball for a save. Marián Dubský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustav Man got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Alcohol Masters getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Gustav Man hit a great ball. When Zdeněk Juřica fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcohol Masters's protests and gave Zdeněk Juřica a yellow card for diving instead. 75 minutes into the match, Harlem Globetrotters's Ivan Šenkyřík broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jaroslav Hazuka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josef Raška having to make a save. After 82 played minutes Harlem Globetrotters got a freekick which was hit by Jindřich Vrzák. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radko Vančura during the 87th minute. Harlem Globetrotters's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
