The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jiljí Častulík received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Vojtěch Piskáček tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Jiljí Častulík put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vojtěch Piskáček. If Otmar Hamšík had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, SK Pohoda's Vojtěch Piskáček got control of the ball when Jiljí Častulík tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nikola Nejezchleba struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Kazimír Vysoký didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Pohoda. In the 29th minute of the match Vladimír Vedral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kazimír Vysoký showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Nikola Nejezchleba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otmar Hamšík sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slavomír Mraček in the 38th minute of play forced SK Pohoda's goalkeeper Vojtěch Piskáček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Pohoda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TJ Slavia Radonice the free kick. The supporters of TJ Slavia Radonice booed when SK Pohoda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiří Harazim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Slavomír Mraček came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the TJ Slavia Radonice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Slavomír Mraček couldn't finish the play. SK Pohoda's Vojtěch Piskáček proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save SK Pohoda from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Slavomír Mraček made a kick off. Nikola Nejezchleba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kazimír Vysoký dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, SK Pohoda's goal looked a bit too open when Slavomír Mraček came free, but Vojtěch Piskáček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nikola Nejezchleba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikola Nejezchleba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Otmar Hamšík fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimír Vysoký having to interfere. After some careless play in the SK Pohoda defense, Slavomír Mraček kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vojtěch Piskáček. The SK Pohoda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vojtěch Piskáček should have stopped the shot. SK Pohoda's Vojtěch Piskáček played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiljí Častulík in the 96th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, SK Pohoda's goal looked a bit too open when Slavomír Mraček came free, but Vojtěch Piskáček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SK Pohoda's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because TJ Slavia Radonice had won, even though SK Pohoda had held more of the ball.
