Zane Jeffries was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomáš Srníček showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. After some careless play in the FK Permesgrun defense, Roman Obadal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jozef Kantor. The FK Permesgrun fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jozef Kantor should have stopped the shot. Ludovít Kulhavý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Kantor having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Ludovít Kulhavý managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1SC ZNOJMO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludovít Kulhavý was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ludovít Kulhavý fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jozef Kantor having to interfere. If Ludovít Kulhavý had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jozef Kantor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Obadal in the 41st minute of play. When Ignác Bíza fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Permesgrun's protests and gave Ignác Bíza a yellow card for diving instead. 43 minutes into the game, 1SC ZNOJMO's Roman Obadal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jozef Kantor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. A collision led to 1SC ZNOJMO getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luděk Fábera hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roman Obadal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roman Obadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, 1SC ZNOJMO's goal looked a bit too open when Tomáš Srníček came free, but Zane Jeffries reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomáš Srníček's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zane Jeffries read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Jaroslav Schindler struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Zane Jeffries didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Permesgrun. 68 minutes in the game, Roman Obadal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jozef Kantor having to interfere. Jozef Kantor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Obadal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Roman Obadal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Ignác Bíza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milan Barák kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jaroslav Schindler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zane Jeffries having to make a save. If Tomáš Srníček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Milan Barák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1SC ZNOJMO's Zane Jeffries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslav Schindler in the 89th minute of play. Zane Jeffries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaroslav Schindler in the 92nd minute of the match. Tomáš Srníček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
