Alf Lidstrøm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Milan Kratochvíl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alf Lidstrøm came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the AFK Patriots Praha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Lidstrøm couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Lidstrøm in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milan Kratochvíl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milan Kratochvíl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lv Yan Ang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Lidstrøm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milan Kratochvíl having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Eleftheriadis in the 17th minute of play forced SK Altbiela's goalkeeper Milan Kratochvíl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan Kratochvíl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philippe Pernhardt went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Milan Kratochvíl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Lidstrøm in the 24th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Jaroslav Krečmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Lidstrøm in the 41st minute of play forced SK Altbiela's goalkeeper Milan Kratochvíl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan Kratochvíl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Eleftheriadis's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute, Alf Lidstrøm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Alf Lidstrøm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Milan Kratochvíl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half AFK Patriots Praha were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 minutes of play, AFK Patriots Praha's Alf Lidstrøm made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milan Kratochvíl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alf Lidstrøm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milan Kratochvíl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, SK Altbiela's goalkeeper Milan Kratochvíl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Lidstrøm. The supporters of AFK Patriots Praha booed when SK Altbiela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Knop didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, AFK Patriots Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Dirda came free, but Zdeněk Kubů reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartoloměj Šimík could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Milan Kratochvíl made a huge save. Christos Eleftheriadis had several of the SK Altbiela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Milan Kratochvíl as he didn't even see the shot coming. Bohdan Roller kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Milan Kratochvíl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Eleftheriadis's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 92nd match minute, SK Altbiela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Tomaštík to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Alf Lidstrøm had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Knop during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AFK Patriots Praha's Milan Beran was substituted for Alf Lidstrøm. When the match was over AFK Patriots Praha could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SK Altbiela throughout the match.
