Spectators: 7540 (Terracing: 5656, Seating: 1734, VIP seats: 150) Slovan Prešov's Bruno Kaštovský started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vratislav Lopata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnold Slunečko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. After 9 minutes, Vojtěch Felcman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovan Prešov and the Bahnaci players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Slovan Prešov got a freekick which was hit by Vojtěch Felcman. After recieving a nice pass, Bahnaci's Vincent Bejdák tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bahnaci's zone, Bruno Kaštovský stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Leško came out of the goal and Bruno Kaštovský tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bohumil Vopat struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Arnold Slunečko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bahnaci. Arnold Slunečko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bohumil Vopat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vratislav Lopata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bohumil Vopat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislav Vaník sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Leško made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Kaštovský in the 25th minute of play. Bruno Kaštovský recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnold Slunečko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bohumil Vopat, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bohumil Vopat in the 35th minute of play forced Slovan Prešov's goalkeeper Arnold Slunečko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vratislav Lopata might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnold Slunečko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vratislav Lopata ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislav Vaník recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan Leško made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ladislav Vaník sent off a good shot on target. Bahnaci's Bohumil Vopat got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bohumil Vopat to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Vratislav Lopata made a precise shot to the right of Arnold Slunečko. Slovan Prešov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Bruno Kaštovský came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Slovan Prešov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruno Kaštovský couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Maliňák during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Denis Maliňák hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bohumil Vopat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Slovan Prešov defense, Vratislav Lopata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnold Slunečko. The Slovan Prešov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnold Slunečko should have stopped the shot. Vratislav Lopata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Bahnaci defense, Ladislav Vaník kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Leško. The Bahnaci fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Leško should have stopped the shot. Bahnaci's Jan Leško played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Kaštovský in the 96th minute of play. Jozef Nejezchleb charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jozef Nejezchleb the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Bahnaci got a freekick which was hit by Jozef Nejezchleb. Bruno Kaštovský received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Jan Leško tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Slovan Prešov supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bahnaci's performance. The match ended with a win for Bahnaci.
