Michail Švec's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Aleš Slováček skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 19th minute, Radimír Borkovec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Rabin's Aleš Slováček got control of the ball when Michal Hnilica tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rabin's Jaroslav Pergler got a free kick in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michail Švec in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aleš Slováček saved Rabin from getting behind. Zdeněk Snášel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karel Pazdera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zdeněk Snášel sped through FC Witkowitz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karel Pazdera. Michail Švec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michal Hnilica got free with Aleš Slováček in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rabin's goalkeeper Aleš Slováček, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michail Švec made a kick off. Josef Česal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Tomáš Friedl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michail Švec struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Aleš Slováček didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Witkowitz. Karel Pazdera made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Zdeněk Snášel sent off a good shot on target. After 72 minutes of play Rabin's Tomáš Friedl was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Rabin's Tomáš Friedl got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Michail Švec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aleš Slováček made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Hnilica in the 83rd minute of play. Aleš Slováček didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Hnilica went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Josef Česal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Witkowitz fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rabin had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
