In the 7th match minute, SK Widern was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohuslav Pergler to maneuver through the defense. If Štefan Froněk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ankh-Morpork Shades defense, Martin Tran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladislav Fiedor. The Ankh-Morpork Shades fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladislav Fiedor should have stopped the shot. Martin Tran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladislav Fiedor having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Martin Tran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Ankh-Morpork Shades got a freekick which was hit by Hanuš Vlašic. After 22 played minutes Ankh-Morpork Shades got a freekick which was hit by Hanuš Vlašic. Hanuš Vlašic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Kristián Petrů managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Ankh-Morpork Shades's Štefan Froněk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michal Šolín might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vladislav Fiedor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michal Šolín ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Vendelín Bareš took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kristián Petrů to make any attempt to save it. When Zdeněk Štrobl fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ankh-Morpork Shades's protests and gave Zdeněk Štrobl a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Ankh-Morpork Shades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdeněk Štrobl to maneuver through the defense. Štefan Froněk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kristián Petrů tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Martin Tran made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Zdeněk Štrobl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SK Widern's Kristián Petrů played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Štefan Froněk in the 59th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanuš Vlašic in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristián Petrů saved SK Widern from getting behind. After having played for 65 minutes, Michal Šolín managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Widern's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Šolín was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ankh-Morpork Shades's Vendelín Bareš in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 71 minutes, Vendelín Bareš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankh-Morpork Shades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vendelín Bareš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdeněk Štrobl in the 86th minute of play forced SK Widern's goalkeeper Kristián Petrů to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristián Petrů stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Štefan Froněk's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. SK Widern's Kristián Petrů played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vendelín Bareš in the 90th minute of play. If Štefan Froněk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Štefan Froněk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ankh-Morpork Shades lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
