Josef Škopek ran back to his position shaking his head. Mikoláš Voldán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jiří Ulrych having to make a save. The referee gave Vincenc Pustka a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After some careless play in the sziszkó fc defense, Jan Pleskač kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Koloman Kaloč. The sziszkó fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Koloman Kaloč should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josef Škopek to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeroným Tylšar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeroným Tylšar couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zaborna's goalkeeper Jiří Ulrych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Zaborna got a freekick which was hit by Christian Bártl. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jeroným Tylšar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zaborna's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeroným Tylšar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koloman Kaloč breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fedor Neumann hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Jeroným Tylšar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaborna played a much better game than sziszkó fc and deserved their victory. The sziszkó fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
