The audience thought a goal was coming when Jiří Kott got free with Roland Tesárek in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Paris Saint Germain's zone, Evžen Kmoch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Tesárek came out of the goal and Evžen Kmoch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Břetislav Maxa fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paris Saint Germain's protests and gave Břetislav Maxa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Břetislav Maxa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Grulich kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 16thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Paris Saint Germain's keeper Roland Tesárek was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. When Břetislav Maxa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint Germain's Břetislav Maxa got a free kick in the 19th minute. Miroslav Grulich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roland Tesárek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miroslav Grulich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Tesárek having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Vladimír Nehyba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chrastov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paris Saint Germain the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Chrastov:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paris Saint Germain:s goal. In the 26th minute, Milan Mráček left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paris Saint Germain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Miroslav Grulich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miroslav Grulich stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Vasil Pulec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Chrastov's Miroslav Grulich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Tesárek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Chrastov's Jiří Kott tried to score from far away in the 54th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Radislav Kurečka made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Nikita Potužák sent off a good shot on target. Roland Tesárek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Grulich in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Jiří Kott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paris Saint Germain's Matouš Roztočil got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Matouš Roztočil off the ground. Antonín Maléř's late challenge caught a Chrastov's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonín Maléř helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Paris Saint Germain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonín Maléř to maneuver through the defense. Evžen Kmoch might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland Tesárek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evžen Kmoch ran back to his position shaking his head. Roland Tesárek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Grulich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jiří Kott in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roland Tesárek prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
