AC Sparta Praha's Miroslav Štancl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvík Skýpala in the 3rd minute of play. Milan Směšný took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslav Štancl. Miroslav Štancl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Miroslav Štancl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milan Směšný, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Ludvík Skýpala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milan Směšný in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Štancl saved AC Sparta Praha from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, AC Sparta Praha's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvík Skýpala came free, but Miroslav Štancl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sufuski booed when AC Sparta Praha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milan Němec didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Ludvík Skýpala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miroslav Štancl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miroslav Štancl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milan Směšný's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milan Směšný in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Štancl saved AC Sparta Praha from getting behind. Miroslav Štancl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludvík Skýpala in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milan Směšný in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Štancl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miroslav Štancl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvík Skýpala in the 44th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Sufuski's Jáchym Dubský shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Miroslav Štancl came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sufuski reached it. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Sufuski's Petr Votruba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vojtěch Šandor in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Vojtěch Šandor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Sparta Praha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vojtěch Šandor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miroslav Štancl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludvík Skýpala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zdenek Trnka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petr Votruba having to interfere. Miroslav Štancl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludvík Skýpala, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludvík Skýpala in the 87th minute of play forced AC Sparta Praha's goalkeeper Miroslav Štancl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Milan Směšný lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Miroslav Štancl. Milan Směšný succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 97th playminute. Sufuski played a much better game than AC Sparta Praha and deserved their victory. The AC Sparta Praha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
