After 25 played minutes, TJ Jiskra Litomysl's Mojmír Trejbal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustav Kotek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in TJ Jiskra Litomysl reached it. Jiří Svrčina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rudolf Ošťádal to make the kick off. Karel Čech took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ondřej Výborný. Ondřej Výborný dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Karel Čech was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Pychov's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. When Rudolf Ošťádal came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pychov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Ošťádal couldn't finish the play. From close distance Karel Čech pressed in the 0-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 80 minutes into the game. Pychov's Gustav Kotek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Fiala in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Rudolf Ošťádal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ondřej Výborný. The goal made the score 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pychov eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
