Spectators: 7538 (Terracing: 5655, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 150) In the 4th minute František Fajfr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Grulich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Jiří Bím came free, but Jaroslav Grulich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jiří Bím struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Jaroslav Grulich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kravarov. Stanislav Kotyza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavel Lučan in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester United's zone, Jiří Bím stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslav Grulich came out of the goal and Jiří Bím tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Kolář received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stanislav Kotyza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. František Fajfr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 35 minutes, Marian Kolář managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marian Kolář was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Kravarov's goal looked a bit too open when Pavel Lučan came free, but Stanislav Kotyza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Pavel Lučan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavel Lučan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jiří Bím came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kravarov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jiří Bím couldn't finish the play. Jiří Bím sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Peterek hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Stanislav Kotyza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Lučan in the 54th minute of the match. František Fajfr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslav Grulich having to interfere. Stanislav Kotyza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavel Lučan went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 66 played minutes Manchester United got a freekick which was hit by Marek Peterek. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Lučan in the 74th minute of play forced Kravarov's goalkeeper Stanislav Kotyza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Marian Kolář got a free kick in the 78th minute. František Fajfr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Jaroslav Grulich made a huge save. Pavel Lučan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Miroslav Štolba fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kravarov's protests and gave Miroslav Štolba a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes Kravarov got a freekick which was hit by Miroslav Štolba. Marian Kolář fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislav Kotyza having to interfere. Přemek Jano charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Přemek Jano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 93 played minutes Kravarov got a freekick which was hit by Přemek Jano. Jiří Peřina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
