When Ivo Kamas fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ostrava Jih's protests and gave Ivo Kamas a yellow card for diving instead. Vladimír Kováč fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Spousta having to interfere. If Miroslav Kolda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Ostrava Jih getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Martin Hlavnička hit a great ball. Antonín Řípa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Pavel Spousta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonín Řípa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Ondřej Šlosar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jan Berki from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Eliáš Janošík's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Zdeněk Solar took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eliáš Janošík to make any attempt to save it. TJ Sokol Kněždub's Eliáš Janošík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Matas in the 36th minute of play. Pavel Spousta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergej Dražan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergej Dražan in the 41st minute of play forced FC Ostrava Jih's goalkeeper Pavel Spousta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TJ Sokol Kněždub's Antonín Řípa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ondřej Šlosar charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ondřej Šlosar hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 57th minute, Sergej Dražan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavel Spousta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. FC Ostrava Jih's Ivo Kamas got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Ivo Kamas off the ground. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Ostrava Jih! After a long run with the ball, Miroslav Kolda did a trick in the 66th minute in front of FC Ostrava Jih's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-3. An impressive performance by TJ Sokol Kněždub's Miroslav Kolda! If Vladimír Kováč had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. Bernard Matas hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, TJ Sokol Kněždub's Sergej Dražan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavel Spousta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Sergej Dražan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TJ Sokol Kněždub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Klaus Šrubař charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klaus Šrubař the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 minutes, Bernard Matas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Ostrava Jih and the TJ Sokol Kněždub players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Ostrava Jih getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
