Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Pavel Podrazil came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Kunice's Radomil Resl. But to his dismay, Radomil Resl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Břetislav Závorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Podrazil having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind SFC Opava's goalkeeper Pavel Podrazil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute Jan Rašovský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Podrazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Podrazil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Břetislav Závorka in the 19th minute of play. Pavel Podrazil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Břetislav Závorka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Milan Pánek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pavel Podrazil quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Břetislav Závorka in the 38th minute of play forced SFC Opava's goalkeeper Pavel Podrazil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Břetislav Závorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Břetislav Závorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Podrazil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonid Kratochvil's late challenge caught a SFC Opava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonid Kratochvil helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kunice! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miloslav Čepek to strike the kick off in the second half. Miloslav Čepek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bohuslav Brych having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, SFC Opava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miloslav Čepek to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Břetislav Závorka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radomil Resl struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Pavel Podrazil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kunice. Pavel Podrazil was a little too slow when Břetislav Závorka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 83rd minute, Ivoš Altman had to leave the field with a concussion. After 83 minutes, Vitalij Ostrý mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SFC Opava and the Kunice players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, SFC Opava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitalij Ostrý to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match, Radomil Resl got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pavel Podrazil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Miloslav Čepek charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miloslav Čepek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Radomil Resl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
