Čkyně's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vipers the free kick. In the 5th minute, Radim Šťovíček hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Haupt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miloslav Stibůrek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. If Jaroslav Kejval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Málek's late challenge caught a Čkyně's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Málek helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Vipers got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Málek. Čkyně's Patrik Flek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vipers. Martin Tesařík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaroslav Kejval, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Milan Tomášek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vipers's Martin Tesařík was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaroslav Kejval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Čkyně's Miloslav Stibůrek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Čkyně from getting a goal against them. Radim Šťovíček kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Radim Šťovíček was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Zoran Tran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vipers's supporters rose to their feet, but Zoran Tran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miloslav Stibůrek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dobromil Steklý sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Zoran Tran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaroslav Kejval made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Čkyně's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Haupt came free, but Miloslav Stibůrek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Čkyně! The referee gave Vipers a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jiří Vancl, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Čkyně's Miloslav Stibůrek. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Čkyně's Patrik Flek got a free kick in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dobromil Steklý during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Haupt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zoran Tran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Miloslav Stibůrek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaroslav Kejval fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tesařík having to interfere. If Jaroslav Kejval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaroslav Kejval got free with Martin Tesařík in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaroslav Kejval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Čkyně's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Vipers had won, even though Čkyně had held more of the ball.
