Leonard Fidler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lubomír Dolenský in the 14th minute of play forced Skorkov's goalkeeper Jiří Hnát to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jiří Hnát showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Fidler in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Skorkov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Plhal to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Ladislav Křepela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Hrazdíra kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Lubomír Dolenský managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HLAVNICE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lubomír Dolenský was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jiří Hnát showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Fidler, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Pavel Pinkava shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koloman Dunka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half FC HLAVNICE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Skorkov booed when FC HLAVNICE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeroným Šik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiří Hnát acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matěj Ruml. After some careless play in the FC HLAVNICE defense, Petr Haša kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Koloman Dunka. The FC HLAVNICE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Koloman Dunka should have stopped the shot. After having played for 90 minutes, Leonard Fidler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC HLAVNICE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Fidler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
